The proposal SACMI presents at Pack Passion week is an essential achievement of development and integration.
SACMI designs and manufactures molds, machines, and vision systems to manufacture PET caps, containers, and preforms.
The proposed PVS156, the first vision system incorporated into the IPS press for PET preform manufacturing, comes from this cross-disciplinary expertise.
This type of deep coupling is currently only available from SACMI because it owns both technologies.
This a unique and revolutionary solution that, for the first time in the history of this market, makes it possible to make quality control, which today is typically performed manually, significantly more accurate, automatic, and faster.

Moraldo Masi joined Sacmi in 1986 and spent the first 8 years in the Service Dept. of the Closures Division. He then moved to the Sales Dept. where he worked for 13 years as Area Sales Manager in many different parts of the world: for the first few years he was in Eastern Europe and Russia, then from 1997 to 2000 in India and South-East Asia, and from 2000 to 2007 he was in Latin America.
In 2007 he became Sales Manager of Sacmi Packaging, a subsidiary company specialised in “end of line” equipment such as pallettizers, depallettizers, case packers and tray formers.
In 2010 he returned to Sacmi Imola as Business and Sales Manager of the PET Business Unit, which specialises in preform manufacturing and stretch-blow moulding systems.
